BoAt is an Indian based consumer electronics brand established in 2015 that markets earphones, headphones stereos, travel chargers and premium rugged cables. Imagine Marketing Services Private Limited, which does business as BoAt, was incorporated in November 2013 by co-founders Sameer Ashok Mehta and Aman Gupta.
The company is one of the three subsidiaries of BKK Electronics, the other two being Oppo and Vivo. In one of his statements explaining the company’s philosophy, CEO Pete Lau had said that the brand aimed to design high-end smartphones with flagship hardware that did not cost premium — hence the tagline ‘Never Settle’.
